As a non-revenue producing organization, CASA relies entirely on grants and gifts from the community for our support. Such contributions enable us to recruit, screen and train additional Advocates to speak for abused and neglected children in Juvenile Court. Gifts provide required staff supervision of these committed, caring volunteers who make time in their own full lives to represent the children of Dunklin County. In a very real sense, donations to CASA reach children who have been hurt by those meant to protect them, helping stop the cycle of abuse and provide hope for a bright future

Each Sponsor may be eligible to receive up to a 50% tax credit from the State of Missouri from the Children in Crisis Tax Credit Program.

Effective in 2006, Missouri created the Children in Crisis Missouri income tax credit. The CIC allows a Missouri individual or corporate tax credit of up to fifty percent of the value of donations made to CASA of South-Central Missouri. Please review the rules and regulations of the CIC Tax Credit program at the Department of Revenue. CASA of South-Central Missouri can not give an opinion on your individual eligibility for the CIC Tax Credit and advises you to consult with your financial advisor or tax attorney for additional information.

Please consider CASA when making gift and memorial contirbutions.
